Looking for somewhere different to stay — off the beaten track, yet within easy reach of everything Plett has to offer in season? Consider camping on the Bitou.
Bhejane Adventures has secured exclusive access to a stretch of the Bitou Floodplain, where five private glamping campsites sit beside the river, just 6km from Plettenberg Bay. Close enough for easy access to iconic beaches, MTB trails and hiking routes, yet far enough to feel like a proper escape.
The Camp
Each glamping site comes with 3m dome tents, kitted out with two beds, linen and chairs — all you need to arrive and settle in. There are no individual braai areas at each site; instead, all campers share the camp's communal facilities:
- A fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you'll need
- A riverside dining area under a stretch tent, perfect for group meals
- A central fire pit, made for sundowners as the river drifts by

- R500 per tent, per day
- R300 per person, per day (catering — breakfast & dinner)

Catering can be arranged for breakfast and dinner, so you can camp without the hassle of cooking every meal yourself.
